The Nashville Fire Department is a part of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County in Tennessee. The department offers emergency medical and fire prevention services. It operates a health and safety division that offers risk management, exposure control, air and hydrant solutions. The Nashville Fire Department has a research and inventory division that is responsible for the procurement of equipment, apparatus, tools and supplies. The department also manages a fire/medical operations section. Its fire/EMS response division tracks budgeted monies and bid process documents and records.
