Established in 1975, Highland Park Elementary School is a private school that is a part of the Salt Lake City School District, which operates more than 40 educational institutes. It offers academic classes in a variety of subjects, including literacy, math, science, dance, drama, music and visual arts. Located in Salt Lake City, the school has an annual enrollment of over 525 students in kindergarten through grade six. Highland Park Elementary School maintains community partnerships with Artworks for Kids and the Virginia Tanner Creative School of Dance Childrens Dance Theater that allows students to have dance instruction on a periodic basis.
