Metro Prep Laureate Day School is a school for children and young adults aged 5 to 22 that provides a nurturing and therapeutic learning environment. Besides the basic academic subjects, the school focuses on the individual needs, interests and aptitudes of each student, and provides a balanced curriculum of education and counseling. It also caters tochildren and young adults who have learning and/or severe emotional disabilities, conditions on the Autism spectrum or are otherwise health-impaired. The staff includes two full-time nurses, a psychologist, a psychiatrist, an art therapy program, occupational and speech therapists, addiction counseling and a literacy coach, and classes remain small to guarantee individualized attention.
