Spencer Jon Helfen is a fine art gallery showing Californian modern art. Gallery selections include important California modernist paintings and sculptures. The Social and Public Art Resource Center is located in a large, light blue building along the busy and popular Venice Boulevard. It hosts a variety of exhibitions, focusing on those that display importance in national and international issues. The gallery is open and free to the public six days a week. It also holds special exhibition events.
