The Atlanta Woman's Club is a nonprofit organization that supports charitable endeavors in the community. The headquarters of the club is the historic Wimbish House, which was built in 1895 for Atlanta's first woman's club. The lavish residence is a national, state and city landmark. Several movies have been filmed at the house. The club rents the house to the public for wedding ceremonies and other special events. Paid parking lots are available next to and behind the facility.

Located inside the Midtown Vortex on Peachtree Street, the Laughing Skull Lounge is a comedy club with an intimate atmosphere, just 74 seats available. Of those 74 seats, there are 10 VIP tables at the front with two seats each. Food is not offered during the show; however, you can order food at the Vortex before the show. The lounge is cash only but an ATM is available just outside the entrance. Since there are only 74 seats, advanced ticket purchasing is recommended and all audience members must be age 18 or older. All shows are non-smoking.

There is limited free parking on-site; arrive early for shows to take advantage of this. Public transportation is available by taking the MARTA North/South line to the Arts Center Station and walking 10 minutes to the Center. The entrance is located on the back side of the building.

The CPA is expanding with the new space scheduled to open fall 2015. It will feature extensive, interactive exhibits of the Global Collection and the collection of Jim Henson's work, which will be something to see and experience.
