Shiloh Baptist Church is a small, brick church. The Church was founded in 1965. Today, it offers its congregation morning services and Sunday school for the children.
Pastor Johnny Gamble laid the foundation for the new church in 1999 when he hosted his Friendship Outreach Ministry's first worship service at the Old Fellow Gallery Catering Hall on Cemetery Drive, Stratford. Later that year, the Friendship Baptist Church of Stratford was incorporated, and it has been a growing presence in the town ever since.
A highly community-based congregation, Canaan Institutional Baptist Church prides itself on its lively and engaging services. The church has many charitable services for the community, with the primary focus on after-school programs for neighborhood children.
Organized and founded by Reverend James A. McMillon in 1957, St. James Baptist Church is currently led by Pastor J.W. Terry. The church offers Baptist Sunday service at 9:30am and daily at 11am. Prayer meetings are held daily at 7:30pm.
With roots in the community stretching back for more than 50 years, Mt. Zion Baptist Church is well-known in the local community. The church offers meetings for worship, prayer, Bible study and Sunday school, and hosts a dinner once a month.
