Food + Lab Catering, comprised of mother and son team Esther and Nino Linsmayer, started with a few simple meals for their friends. Three years later, the restaurant has won over the WEHO fashion crowd and has been lauded by The New York Times as "the best fashion caterer."
Food + Lab Catering has catered over a thousand photo shoots, events and private parties for the fashion industry. Glamour aside, this small café turns out fresh salads, sandwiches soups and desserts. Food + Lab uses organic and seasonal ingredients sourced from local farmers' markets.
Food + Lab also sells lunch boxes and gift boxes for individual or corporate events.
Break Room Cafe is a restaurant that offers a selection of healthy, fresh and natural foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It serves only in-season, organic fruits and vegetables. Selections include smoked salmon on a bagel, feta and basil on focaccia, a high-energy organic Brazilian acai bowl, grilled chicken breast sandwich, turkey breast panini, a chipotle chicken wrap and Caesar and Chinese chicken salad. Smoothies, fresh juice, iced tea and freshly brewed coffee are also available.
