Book Hampton is located on Main Street in East Hampton Village. It sells a wide variety of books for adults and children and the staff is friendly and helpful. It also has locations in Southampton and Sag Harbor.
Glenn Horowitz Bookseller has a gallery on Newtown Lane in East Hampton. The business is privately owned and specializes in 19th-, 20th- and 21-century manuscripts, archival material, correspondence and inscribed first editions, as well as autographs, original works of photography and art-related rare books. Exhibitions are on a rotating schedule and is open to the public seven days a week and by appointment.
The Ladies Village Improvement Society of East Hampton operates Bargain Books, along with Bargain Box Thrift Shop, out of its headquarters on Main Street. Bargain Books has the South Fork's largest selection of second-hand books. Many first editions and collectibles have surfaced here. The Childrens' Corner has children's rocking chairs, and it is a favorite for parents with little ones and school-aged children.
