Duke Farms is a 2,700 acre farm formerly owned by tobacco and hydro-power magnate James Duke and his daughter Doris Duke. Through demonstrations, research and educational programs, Duke Farms hopes to inspire a new approach to conservation and sustainable living. Since its first service at a local school in 1980, Ocean County Baptist Church has grown to a large congregation housed in a complex that includes Ocean County Christian Academy and a gym. It operates ministries for children, teens, youth and adults, with special groups for singles, women and new believers. There are annual men's, women's and couples' retreats, kids' and teens' summer camp, ski retreats and rafting trips. Teens can also attend mission trips or work at Vacation Bible School. Fashion Republic specializes in processing used clothing and shipping it to people in need. Since 1999, the program has been helping New Jersey schools, churches, Boy Scouts and other organizations raise money by setting up clothing drives where people can donate usable and wearable clothing, shoes, household items and more. Fashion Republic then buys the merchandise from the organization behind the drive. The collected items are sorted and shipped to various countries, including Poland, Republic of Georgia, Ghana, Liberia, Honduras, Nicaragua, Chile, Haiti and India, and sold for a low cost at local markets and thrift store.
Lunch Break is a soup kitchen located in the heart of Red Bank. The soup kitchen consists of employees and volunteers serving those in need in the Red Bank and surrounding areas. Lunch Break provides food, clothes and friendship for the needy in their community. Volunteers and donations are appreciated.
Long Branch Elks Lodge is part of the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks. The civic organization is dedicated to promoting American patriotism and providing services for veterans.
