Lubbock Parks & Recreation is one of the departments operated by the City Of Lubbock, Texas. It offers playground equipment, walking tracks, picnic tables, shelters and restrooms. Its senior citizen centers offer a clean facility for dance, computer and exercise class and enjoy a game of pool and bingo. Its garden and arts center offers a variety of arts programs for youths, adults, seniors and families, including art education classes, monthly exhibits, garden classes and shows, summer camps, and art and photography competitions. It has a kid-sized town, Safety City, where public school students learn hands-on the rules of pedestrian, bicycle and traffic safety. It also offers outdoor facilities, such walking tracks, mountain bike trails, disc golf, aquatics, fishing piers and tennis courts.
