Led by Reverend Michael D. Lombardo, Our Lady of Consolation is a Catholic church affiliated with St. Elzabeth Ann Seton Academy, a pre-school to 8th grade parochial school located on the property adjacent to the church.
Bethany Church traces its roots to 1911 when a group of believers began meeting in Paterson. Later, these worshippers formed the Bethany Pentecostal Assembly, which is an Assembly of God church.
Bethany teaches that the Bible is the inerrant word of God, and that man is the "pinnacle" of God's creation. There are various ministries and classes available for kids, teens and adults.
St. John the Apostle Church School is a Catholic school located in Linden. The school offers school programming for children two years before kindergarten (age 3) through eighth grade. Named a Blue Ribbon school by the Department of Education, St. John the Apostle Church School combines secular curricula with religious education. Tuition varies by grade level and parish membership.
St. Joseph's Catholic Church, in Millstone Borough, offers services, education and ministry opportunities for its congregation.
Rev. Msgr. William Cole and several associate pastors lead the church, along with several deacons. The church includes a parish center, a nursery, and a rectory all within the church building.
In addition to mass services, the parish offers faith education programs, a Christian Youth Organization basketball team, support services for parishioners and ministry opportunities.
Outreach opportunities include food drives, participation in the Somerset County Interfaith Hospitality Network and missionary programs. In addition to the main church building, the church has basketball hoops in its parking lot.
Annunciation Parish is set in a spacious hilltop campus, but it takes pride in being a small and welcoming community. Parishioners can take part in ministries and activity groups for kids, teens and seniors; join the Family Choir or get involved in community outreach through the lay ministries. The church also sponsors Cub Scout Pack 127, Boy Scout Troop 127, Knights of Columbus Council 11943, and a bowling league.
The people of St. Luke's enjoy being together and opportunities for joyful fellowship abound in all seasons, from our “coffee hour” gatherings each Sunday, to our annual fundraising events in the Fall and Spring, to our informal dinner groups during Winter and a multitude of other celebratory events and occasions.
Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church offers a wide variety of programs, many of which are specifically geared toward the church's younger members.
It hosts five liturgies each weekend: Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 7:30am, 9am, 11am and 12:15pm. There is also a liturgy at 7:30am each weekday.
As part of its youth ministry, the church has teams in a Catholic Youth Organization basketball league. It also has a men's society and hosts senior citizen events.
The church participates in a partnership with St. Anthony's Parish in Passaic that encourages church members to tutor at St. Anthony's and allows the church to support some of St. Anthony's' ventures (especially its parish school). The two churches also organize joint programs.
Church members also help volunteer at the Interfaith Council for Homeless Families of Morris County.
