Our Lady of the Lake is a Catholic church located directly across from Verona Park. The facility itself is distinguished by a crucifix atop a vertical set of three large bells. The church has worship services 7 days a week and provides numerous youth and young adult ministry programs. It also sponsors a "jobs ministry" that helps link job seekers with employers seeking workers.
Founded in 1914, Our Lady of Lourdes is a Catholic church that offers several weekly masses. Twice-weekly bingo games support the school Blessed Pope John XXIII Academy (co-sponsored by St. Joseph's Church). The "Heritage Room" is a collection of memorabilia from the parish's founding in 1914 to the present day. In addition, religious books and items are available for purchase in the church lobby.
In 1832, early First Presbyterian followers gathered in the "Old Red Schoolhouse" for the first services. Every Sunday, they walked to the Westfield Presbyterian Church, where there was an already established congregation. It wasn't until 1850 that followers began to build the First Presbyterian Church of Cranford. It was completed in 1851 and has been expanding since. The church offers a Sunday morning service in the sanctuary followed by fellowship and coffee. During the summer months, the church offers two services in the air-conditioned Snyder Chapel.
This Lutheran congregation is led by Clemens I. Reinke, senior pastor since July 1, 2007. The church offers worship, Bible study and children's Christian education, charitable and mission programs, among other ministries. Grace also partners with Teaneck's Christ Episcopal Church for ministry and outreach in the community.
Our Lady of Good Counsel Church is a Roman Catholic Church. The church has more than 15,000 parishioners in Moorestown and Mt. Laurel. The church also has a private school for students from kindergarten to 8th grade, and it offers religious education classes to students who attend public school.
The Moorestown Monthly Meeting is home to the Religious Society of Friends, more commonly referred to as Quakers. The meetinghouse is located on the grounds of the Moorestown Friends School. The church has religious education classes for all ages. The church is active in the community helping build houses for Habitat for Humanity and raising funds for various charities. The Quakers also hold peace vigils.
