Miss Polly's Learning Center is a special needs Medicaid based day care servicing special needs children ages six months to five years of age. We have on site Occupational, Physical, and Speech therapists, three toddler classrooms, two 3-4 year old classrooms, and one 4-5 year old classroom. We provide transportation for your child to and from school. Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack is provided for your child. Our dedicated staff will work with your child to help them reach their optimum potential. Licensing certificates are available for review upon request.

Baxter Day Service Center, founded in 1971, offers services for the developmentally disabled individuals. A 6-acre facility, Baxter consists of a 4,800-square-feet development facility and over 33,000-square-foot subcontract warehouse. It is a nonprofit corporation, financially supported by the Arkansas Department of Human Services, Department of Developmental Services, Medicaid, subcontracts and contributions. Baxter Day Service Center provides terminal and transitional recognized programs of habilitation and vocational training and supportive employment for adults. Located in Mountain Home, Ark., its warehouse stores products of Baxter Recycling and Custom Cedar. Besides providing client employment, these two facilities provide services and products to the local community and the wholesale market.

Disability Rights Center, established in 1977, is a private nonprofit agency with its office in Little Rock, Ark. It provides independent rights protection and advocacy system for persons with disabilities in Arkansas. It operates eight federally funded programs to advocate for and protect the rights of community members with disabilities and is part of a nationwide network of congressionally mandated legally based disability rights agencies. DRC has the authority to provide legal representation and other advocacy services and can enter any facility in the state that provides care or treatment to persons with disabilities. Disability Rights Center provides services free of charge.
