South Hills Academy is an independent Christian School that is located in West Covina, Calif. The school provides academic education and religious programs for students in kindergarten through grade eight. It addresses the physical, emotional and social needs of its students and helps in the development of leadership skills. It has a 5-acre campus and also provides boarding and lodging facilities. The school s curriculum includes English, math, Spanish, and basic courses in computer applications that include Microsoft Office, Windows XP, Excel and graphics designing, and access to the Internet. It additionally offers Stanford Achievement Test preparation programs. South Hills Academy provides various extracurricular activities, such as music, band, choir and field trips, and offers physical education. The school has a library that provides a large collection of curriculum books, articles and newspapers and magazines. Additionally, the school has a computer lab and offers after school programs.
