Brookline Regional Catholic School serves the following parishes: St. Pius X, Church of the Resurrection and Our Lady of Loreto. There are three schools at BRC, the primary school serves kindergarten through third grades, the intermediate school serves fourth through sixth grades and the upper school serves seventh through eighth grades. The curriculum includes religion, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, fine arts and computer. Faculty member strive to prepare students to be Catholic leaders in the church and in the community.
St. Simon & Jude School is connected to the church of the same name next door. It offered classes to students from kindergarten through the fifth grade before closing in June. It continues to be used for pre-school students and CCD classes.
St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin School is run by St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Parish, a Catholic community that is, as its website states, "focused on the principle of tithing." It is because of this charitable giving that St. Gabriel School remains one of the few tuition-free Catholic institutions in the country. St. Gabriel Possenti is the patron saint of both the church and school. The parish offers an array of activities outside of mass and classes, all in the name of piety. St. Gabriel's, or St. Gabe's for short, has been called the "Miracle on Greenridge Drive."
The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth is an international Roman Catholic congregation of vowed religious women with a special focus on the spiritual well-being of families. It is located along Bellevue Rd. in the heart of the North Hills. The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth maintain a sprawling campus-like facility where it provides a wide variety of social and community-oriented services including a child care facility, community meetings and more. Part of a national congregation, The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth pursue active ministry in schools, hospitals, parishes, prisons and local social service locations.
