The Vineland Adult Daycare Center, also known as Salida del Sol, is a state-funded facility that offers programs for seniors on fixed incomes. The program runs Monday through Friday from 8am till 2pm. Games, arts and crafts, exercise and other activities are provided, in addition to breakfast and lunch. Pick-up and drop-off services are available.

A local community hub, this indoor gymnasium is used as an auditorium as well as a gymnasium, with a capacity of 250. The Toluca Lake community baseball league has used the baseball diamonds since 1952. The baseball diamonds are not lit, but the indoor basketball courts and handball courts are lighted. A popular place used for local school functions, there are two large green fields and plenty of trees and tables for picnics.

New Directions for Youth is a nonprofit organization that provides direct services and programs for at-risk youths and families throughout San Fernando Valley in California. Founded in 1976, the organization offers therapeutic counseling services for individuals and groups. It specializes in providing gang prevention, summer employment, graffiti removal and neighborhood beautification, youth development, and career education and exploration programs. New Directions for Youth offers assessment and referral services for more than 2,000 youths and families annually. It provides various programs that include crisis intervention and substance abuse prevention. The organization conducts training classes and camping activities. New Directions for Youth has partnerships with the Wolfson Family Foundation, California Wellness Foundation, and Amateur Athletic Foundation.
