The Edina Community Center serves Edina residents though sponsored community programs for all ages, from birth to adult programs. The Edina Family Center has programs for children from birth to age five, including Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes. The youth programs are available to children aged five to 18 and the Center for Adult Education has programs available to adults 18 and older.

The Richfield Community Center is located near Ausburg Park, Richfield Senior High School and the Hennepin County Library. The facility has a full-service kitchen on the lower level and grills on its patio. The center often holds seminars, banquets and events for Richfield's youth dance program. The center offers a variety of activities and services for all ages, including Jazzercise, Fitness Yoga, Bridge lessons, Bingo, flu-shot clinics in the fall and more. The center is also the source for all information about parks, the mini-golf course, the Richfield Ice Arena and the public pool. The Recreation Services Department is also located within the center.

The Lenox Community Center is home to a number of community education programs, after-school activities and events for senior citizens. They offer specialized programs for people of all ages and are strong advocates for a life full of learning. Located in the old Lenox School on Minnetonka Boulevard, Lenox is dedicated to the people they work with and are excited to get you started in your activity or program of choice.

This almost 10-acre park hosts a variety of athletic facilities that serve the neighborhood, including baseball, tennis and softball fields, as well as a half-court for basketball . There's also a playground and wading pool for younger kids.

Located between Kenny Community School and Susan B. Anthony Middle School, the neighborhood center hosts a variety of activities, including playgroups for younger kids or martial arts for their older siblings.

The park (and surrounding neighborhood) is named in honor of Sister Elizabeth Kenny, according to David C. Smith's historical account of Minneapolis parks.

The Edina Art Center offers classes in art and painting for children, youths and their families. It conducts classes in pottery and clay sculptures. In addition, the center teaches the techniques of making handmade boxes and covered jars. The Edina Art Center also offers courses in photography, jewelry making and cartooning. The Plymouth Ice Center provides year-round ice skating, rentals and classes at its indoor facility. This center features three rinks of two sizes, one Olympic and two professional. This facility also has 16 locker rooms and two community meeting rooms. Wayzata and Armstrong high schools and Providence Academy play their home ice hockey games at the arena. The ice can be rented for groups by the quarter hour. The facility is a public-private collaboration between the city, Wayzata School District, Providence Academy, Life Time Fitness, local hockey associations and the state of Minnesota.

The Fred Babcock VFW Post 5555 has a strong Richfield history. Named for a police officer who died in service in the 1940s, this post provides services and camaraderie for community veterans. In addition to a restaurant that's open daily, the post has meetings and events for veterans and their families, including bingo, dances and charitable gambling.

If there's one thing Golden Valley is well known for, it is its parks and trails. Fifteen percent of the city is dedicated to parks and open space and the office overseeing those parks is located in the Brookview Community Center next to the Brookview Golf Course.

Amenities offered at the center include various community rooms that people use for meetings, parties and receptions; as well as grills and picnic tables on a deck outside with beautiful views of the golf course. Alcohol is allowed on-site for events, but people cannot bring their own alcoholic beverages, it has to be supplied by a designated beverage provider.

People can also come here to register for recreational programs offered at some of the various parks around Golden Valley.

This is the regional office for the international organization Young Life, which is a multicultural-based ministry reaching out to middle school to college-aged youth. It focuses on camps, where kids can enjoy activities such as rock climbing, riding a zipline or parasailing. The goal of the program is also to instill a sense of self-worth and a connection with its campers' spiritual side. This branch serves high school youth.

Fuller Park is a community area and two-acre park. It is open year round and offers a range of facilities, including a wading pool and recreation center. Other amenities include a basketball court, drinking fountain, playground as well as picnic area. It also has a garden and restroom facility. In 1968, the Martin Luther King Recreation Center was added to the park facilities. The land for Martin Luther King Park (originally Nicollet Park) was purchased in 1916. Now the center hosts a variety of programs for all ages utilizing the many amenities; a basketball court, craft room, gymnasium, meeting rooms, volleyball court, computer lab and kitchen.
