Westerchester Skating Academy is a hockey and figure-skating clinic, offering camps and workshops to skilled athletes and novices alike. The Academy's hockey department offers courses for all age ranges and skill levels. It hosts a youth and adult men's league. Facilities at the Westchester Skating Academy are also open to the public. Adult admission is $10.25 with a $4 skate rental. Admission for children under 10, children under 3 and seniors is discounted. Members receive a $1 discount. Saturday-night admission is reduced across the board. The Tab Ramos Sports Center is an athletic complex that offers a myriad of sports and activities. The primary sport here is soccer, as Tab Ramos is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame, played on three consecutive World Cup teams for the United States and was the first player ever signed to a contract to play for Major League Soccer (MLS), in 1995. The athletic complex boasts several large fields that can be used for soccer, flag football, field hockey and lacrosse. The facility also has a full-length street hockey rink and numerous soccer and hockey leagues available for a wide variety of age groups and skill levels. The Tab Ramos Sports Center also offers classes and individual lessons through special instructors and camps, and provides different programs and day camps in the summertime. Come visit the SkyBox bar and lounge, which overlooks the athletic facilities and features a full bar and food menu.
Center Ice of DuPage is a full-featured facility that includes two Olympic-size rinks for figure skating, hockey, public skating and private events. The wood-paneled lobby has the cozy feel of a chalet, and it's a good place to warm up between sessions or enjoy a snack from the concession stand .There's also a Pro Shop where you can buy skates, apparel and accessories. On weekend nights, the rink goes dark for Cosmic Skate, a fun public skating session that features special lights synced to Top 40 music.
Group and private skating lessons are available for all ages and levels through Center Ice Skating Academy, where Olympic Gold Medalist Evan Lysacek once learned to skate. (He's been known to skate there still, from time to time.)
The All American Skate Center is a family-friendly rollerskating rink. It offers theme skating nights, birthday parties and "Grown Folks Skate Jams" exclusively for those 21 or older. It also has a pro shop that sells skating equipment and accessories.
