A program of the Campus for Human Development, Room in the Inn works with more than 150 area congregations to provide food and shelter for up to 220 people each day. It provides beds and meals for homeless individuals. The Campus for Human Development is a religious nonprofit organization founded in 1995. A facility of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, Joe C. Davis YMCA Outdoor Center is spread over an area of more than 305 acres with several miles of shoreline on J. Percy Priest Lake in Tennessee. The center offers day camp programs that include various leisure activities, such as swimming, waterskiing, archery, horseback riding, boating, canoeing, and arts and crafts for students in grades one through eight.
