Concert Venues in Illinois

With more than 12,000 seats, the largest outdoor concert venue in the Midwest calls Tinley Park home.

Opening in 1990 as the World Music Theater (later the Tweeter Center), the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre, as it has been named since 2006, has brought live music to more than 400,000 music fans a year. Such world-class acts as Cher and the Grateful Dead have played here, with each season bringing diverse acts from country to rock to hip-hop.

Unless otherwise noted, a parking fee is included in the ticket price. VIP, VIP Plus, limo and oversized vehicle parking are available for an additional charge of $30, $40, $50 and $75, respectively.

Arcada Theatre is an old-fashioned performing arts center. A vaudeville venue in its early days, this theater has been hosting a variety of performing arts acts and movies since it was refurbished five years ago. Tailgater's is well-known throughout the Chicagoland area for being one of the most exciting hangouts during the weekends or during a televised sporting event. Live music and local DJs are some of the reasons that locals love flocking to this bar and grill. It offers lunch, dinner and also has a Sunday brunch. Tailgaters is a great place to meet friends to watch the game or wind down after a long work week.

Chicago Human Rhythm Project is a non-profit organization hosting live dance and musical performances, as well as classes in tap dancing.
