Area Erectors provides steel and precast concrete erection services to fabricators and general contractors. In addition to its work in structural steel, the company has substantial experience in the pre-engineered building portion of businesses as well. Due to Areas reputation, the company has enjoyed solid and steady growth during the years. Since 1994, Area Erectors has been ranked within the top 20 steel erection companies nationally in Engineering News Records annual report. Gerald Youmans founded the company in 1964. Area Erectors, as a whole, consists of five divisions located in strategically placed areas in Illinois and Wisconsin with the headquarters in Rockford, Ill., and a location in Rochelle, Ill.
