Craven County Schools serves nearly 15, 000 students through its more than 40 elementary, middle and high schools. The district also governs the Craven Early College, an autonomous high school that provides its students with a high school diploma and up to two years of college credit toward a bachelor s degree and an associate s degree. The district has various departments, including administration, business, human resources, information technology, instructional services and system improvement and strategic planning. The instructional services department provides a variety of student and health services, federal and employee wellness programs and support services.
