Its medical unit features an outpatient clinic and more than eight inpatient beds. The Lea County Detention Center also includes a computer laboratory, library and air recreation yards. The center hosts community groups and schedule meetings. It offers opportunities for Bible studies, as well as counseling through religious volunteers.
