The Operations and Maintenance Division is a part of the Public Works Department, which is governed by Douglas County in Oregon. It is responsible for operating and maintaining the county road system and more than 10 transfer stations. It offers road maintenance, signing, striping, vegetation control, solid waste operation and recycling services. The Public Works Department operates administration, administrative services and engineering departments. The department offers the Adopt-A-Highway program and handles the management of the Glide-Idleyld Park sewerage facility. Its natural resources division is responsible for water projects and resources management and operations of Galesville and Berry Creek dams.
