The Human Resources Council, also known as HRC, is a private, nonprofit human service agency that serves the communities of California. Founded in 1981, the council provides community-based programs and education to families, children and individuals. It operates through various divisions, such as child care resources, crisis center and food bank. The Human Resources Council provides emergency food baskets, rental and energy assistance, home owner assistance and legal services. Find the Children is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the recovery of missing children and to the prevention of the abuse and endangerment of children. Find the Children assists families searching for missing children by helping them to access local and federal law enforcement, advising them on the appropriate legal documents, and connecting them with other non-profit organizations or community resources that may help them in their search for their children. We educate parents and children on child safety, and work closely and in conjunction with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
