Studio Bleu Dance Center is located off Ashburn Road in the Ashburn Shopping Center. Studio Bleu offers a variety of dance classes for all ages ranging from 18 months through adulthood. Classes include ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap and modern amongst others.
Dance companies are offered to qualified dancers who pass an audition. Private lessons are available.
Dance Studio Lioudmila is a professional ballroom dance studio offering top instruction, classes, and parties for the competitive and social ballroom dancer. We offer group classes and private instruction for novice/beginner levels to advanced levels in International Latin and Standard, American Rhythm and Smooth, Argentine Tango, Swing, Salsa, Hustle (Disco), Night Club Dances, and many more.
The Academy of Ballet, founded in 1983, offers classes for all skill levels and ages. More experienced dancers have choices of advanced technique, pointe and partnering classes. Every December the academy puts on a performance of the classic ballet The Nutcracker.
Manassas Ballet Theatre is a ballet company consisting of 12 professional dancers who present four major productions each season. Past productions include "Anna Karenina" and "The Nutcracker." Performing at the Hylton Performing Arts Center, the Manassas Ballet Theatre provides accessible and affordable cultural arts performances to the public, and also offers free educational outreach programs to more than 15,000 school children annually. Buffa's Dance Studio has been providing dance instruction since 1980. Its instructors teach ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, contemporary and lyrical dance. Tiny Dancers is a dance studio for children ages 2 to 12 years. The studio specializes in ballet training, but jazz and tap techniques are also taught. The classes involve technical skill and fundamental learning in a creative environment. The curriculum is based on choreographed stories and fairy tales.
The studio also offers specialized programs for each age group. Wiggletoes is for children 18 to 30 months old. Mom and Me classes are designed for 2 to 3 year-olds. Tiny Dancers, Tiny Tappers and Tiny Hip Hop classes are designed for 3 to 6 year olds. Children 6 to 12 years old are enrolled into a more advanced ballet, tap or jazz program.
