Founded in 1977 and located in North Stamford, The Canaan Ridge School offers a private-school education for students in nursery school through second grade. Canaan Ridge uses the Montessori method and offers its students science, art and music classes as well as an early start in French and Mandarin. The school is equipped with a playground, pool and a small computer area, and is open during the summer for camp.
