This most unique of the eight Minnieland schools in the Fredericksburg area looks like a miniature castle. The day school is mingled in with the Five Mile Fork businesses off of Route 3. Known as the Minnieland at the Castle, the school was renovated in 2o1o. The private day school cares for children from 3 weeks old to 14, offering infant and toddler care, preschool and kindergarten along with before- and after-school care.
Located in the Mt. Hope Baptist Church, Salem Fields Kids Connect teaches children about God through the use of music, media, drama, dancing, singing, and storytelling.
Its Backyard Family Theater has live performances every Sunday at 10:20am, where families are treated to skits and music while learning important principles for life.
Salem Fields Students offers a gathering place for middle school students during each weekend worship, and high school students on Thursdays at 7pm. Students will experience live music, relevant messages and opportunities for service.
Located in Fredricksburg's historical district, La Petite Auberge serves classic French food with a local twist, sourcing its seafood and produce from local vendors and keeping abreast of the seasonal specialties. Its extensive wine list features wines from all over the world, including Virginia. Private dining is available on reservation.
Mount Hope Academy is a pre-school to kindergarten school that uses an Abeka curriculum, a Christ-centered, academically challenging program. It incorporates Bible, phonics, numbers, science, social studies, art and music; classes are taught individually and with other kids. The school aims to provides multi-sensory and multi-cultural activities for children.
