Established in 1972, University of Florida College of Dentistry is a publicly funded dental school. The college specializes in more than 15 degree and certificate programs. It offers courses in a variety of subjects, such as dentistry, neurosciences, bone biology, immunology, biostatistics, and cancer epidemiology and prevention. It provides classes in genomics of infectious diseases and cell biology and signaling. It offers a range of leisure activities that includes hiking, boating, swimming and fishing.
