Topaz Canine Services Inc inspects, trains, and certifies your dog to become a certified service dog or therapy dog. Service Dogs are specially trained to assist people with various disabilities and provide safety and independence to their handlers by assisting with everyday activities. At Topaz Canine Services, we hold exceptionally high standards for our Service Dog Teams, which exceed the International Association of Assistance Dog Partners (IAADP) and Assistance Dogs International (ADI) training standards. Dogs that go through training for Therapy Dog Certification must first obtain their AKC Canine Good Citizen and pass the Therapy Dog evaluation which can be obtained at our training center in Fannin County, Texas. We also offer Novice Trick Dog Training, Intermediate Trick Dog Training, and Champion Trick Dog Training for owners looking to teach their dogs more complex tricks. Obedience training is another great way to revolutionize your dogs manner! Imagine teaching your dog basic skills: sit, down, come, stay, and loose leash walking in a beautiful and fun setting. We will address problem behaviors like jumping up, leash pulling, and play biting to make your dog a good family member. Our positive, reward-based program is a great bonding experience for you and your dog. Need a place for your furry friend to stay? Look no further! Topaz Canine Services now offers Pet Boarding and Kennel accommodations for DOGS. All pets are kept separately (unless otherwise specified by the owner). Dogs are taken outside to exercise 3 or 4 times daily with leashes (depending on weather) in an environment under constant supervision.
