For More Information, Contact: St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church ( 843 ) 448-3773 Monday through Friday, 8: 45 AM - 2: 30 PM St. Johns Greek Orthodox Church of Myrtle Beach is holding its 19th Annual Greek Festival September 23rd - 26th. This 4-day event will be held in the fellowship hall and on the Church grounds on the corner of Hwy 17 By-pass and 33rd Avenue North, on Thursday from 11AM 9PM, Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. 10 p.m., and on Sunday from noon until 7p.m. Admission is only $1 for adults, and children 10 and under are free. Come on out and enjoy mouth-watering Greek foods such as Gyros, Roasted Lamb, Greek Salad, Spanikopita and Mousaka as well as a wide assortment of Greek pastries and breads. Soft drinks, beer and Greek wines will also be available. Try a Baklava Ice Cream Sundae. You can dine in, or get it to go. There will be a coffee shop, gift shop and vendor booths. Therell be live Greek music, Greek dancers, and childrens activities, as well as Church tours and informative lectures about our iconography and the Orthodox faith at 11: 30AM, 1PM, 4PM and 6 PM daily. Whether you come every year or youve never been, this is one fun and educational Festival that you dont want to miss! This year, a portion of our Raffle Sale proceeds will benefit "Scents for Soldiers " as our way of saying "thank you" for your continued support of our parish fundraising endeavors. FREE ADDITIONAL PARKING and continuous shuttle bus service from the back parking lot of Captain Georges ( 29th Avenue N. @ Hwy 17 by-pass ) 12 Noon 9: 30 pm daily. St. Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church offers Orthodox Apostolic worship in a beautiful setting. The church also offers adult worship, child care and outreach programs. Church members welcome newcomers to share their beliefs. The church's current location was completed in 2002, seating 300 people in the upper level's main sanctuary, with a fellowship hall, classrooms and a small chapel on the lower level.
