FundingYoung Americans Center for Financial Education is a unique organization. We operate both a non-profit 501 ( c ) and a for-profit entity. While both entities share a common mission, the finances and operations of the two are completely separate.Young Americans Bank is a for-profit entity, an FDIC-insured, state-chartered bank. However due to the Banks educational nature, it does not make a profit. Since its inception, the Young Americans Bank has required annual subsidy to operate. At the Banks inception, founder Bill Daniels pledged to fund it in perpetuity, therefore funding comes primarily from Bills legacy foundation, the Daniels Fund.Young Americans Center for Financial Education, a 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) nonprofit, delivers all our programs such as Young AmeriTowne, International Towne, Get aHead for Business, summer camps, and others. Young Americans Center receives support from corporations, foundations and individuals that strongly identify with our mission. In addition, we collect fees for some of our programs ; however fees cover only a small percentage of our overall programmatic costs. We maintain low fees so students from all socio-economic backgrounds have the opportunity to participate. Our supporters range from large, multi-year corporate partners to smaller entrepreneurial business owners ; from passionate individual givers to dedicated local foundations. We are committed to creating long-term relationships with every one of them.Contact Jody Phillips, Development Director, 303-321-2265, to discuss how you can get involved and to arrange a tour of Young Americans to see our progams in action.3550 E. 1st Avenue, CO 80206 Denver ph. 303-321-2265 fax 303-320-6507 Follow us on Facebook
