Established in 1997, The Rhode Island Farm Bureau is an independent, nongovernmental, voluntary organization of farm and ranch families that analyzes problems of the farmers and formulates actions for farming advancements. The bureau also provides various membership services that include accidental death and dismemberment insurance, coast-to-coast vision plan with a discount on prescription lenses and frames, and hotel s international discounting schemes and products. It also offers regular membership services, including study and research work on farm bureau issues and participation assistance in developing bureau policies. The bureau is located in Johnston, R.I.
