The UGA Graduate School has its offices in Suite 400 of the Michael Brothers Building in downtown Athens. The Graduate School oversees the graduate programs of the entire university, including all of its schools and colleges. The staff and administrators review applications for admission to the school and maintain records of the progress of graduate students toward their degrees. In particular, they monitor and certify that students have completed, on schedule, required classes, committee meetings, and dissertation work.
Athens Technical Institute Adult Literacy Programs is part of the Business and Industry Services at Athens Technical College. The team provides training and testing for GED courses. Remedial math and English lessons and skill assessments are offered.
