This station covers the westernmost part of the town of Mount Pleasant, bordered to the north by Briarcliff Manor and to the south by Sleepy Hollow. The firehouse is located at Arch Hill, a section of the Albany Post Road known for its steep curve, its slipperiness in winter and its accidents.
