Fly fishing has been his passion and lifestyle since he was twelve years old. Sean started working at the Silver Bow Fly Shop in 2002 and soon purchased the business on August 31st of 2005. Despite being young Sean has spent more hours on the water than most people do in a lifetime. Honing his skills on the nearby trout streams of Washington, Idaho, and Montana Sean has traveled to other reaches of the world in pursuit of steelhead, bonefish, tarpon, permit, and large trout. While he may always be a trout bum at heart Sean can regularly be found with a spey rod on the steelhead rivers south of Spokane. In addition to running his fly shop, Sean guides for steelhead in the fall and winter months on the Grande Ronde River and teaches numerous clinics on all aspects of fly fishing. Sean is also a member of the RL Winston Rod and Scientific Anglers Pro Staffs. Jon Allan - Shop Manager Despite trying to quite numerous times Jon is the "wise old man" that keeps the shop running. Jon has been there done that... fly fishing for most of his life Jon has spent many days on local waters and abroad. When not trying to hook a tarpon in Florida or Belize Jon can often be found taking a nap while chironomid fishing on a nearby lake in his Clacka Mini Drifter. Jons fishing prowess is second to none and can swap fishing tales with the best of them. Jon manages all day-to-day operations of the Silver Bow. With decades of fly fishing experience under his belt, Jim has been chasing the slippery wildlife for quite some time. Spending most of his time on the nearby trout streams of Idaho and Montana if you have a question on local fisheries then Jim is your man. His patience for teaching and years of knowledge on the local waters will help any angler get into more fish. Jim has been with the shop since 2004 and can be regularly found at the Silver Bow on a weekly basis.

Theresa Weiser is the owner of Alaska Premier Charters, Inc. dba Wild Strawberry Lodge. She has been on the water for most of her life, growing up on the Oregon coast and beginning her career as a deckhand on charter boats in her teenage years. From that experience, Theresa knew that she loved fishing and all the thrills associated with it. So in 1978 she came to Alaska and never looked back. For several years, she worked on a couple of commercial trollers and longline vessels and at a fish processing plant, Icicle Seafoods—getting a taste of the Alaska commercial fishing industry. Then in 1985 she moved permanently to Sitka, Alaska—home of world class fishing for King Salmon, Silver Salmon, and Halibut. About five years passed, as Theresa became an entrepreneur and built a strong business of curing and marketing salmon eggs for salmon, trout and steelhead fishing. In the spring of 1990, she sold her bait business and earned her U.S.C.G. 50 ton Masters Captain License. Shortly thereafter Theresa became an entrepreneur again as she partnered up with three others and started Alaska Premier Charters, Inc. That was the beginning of her Captaining experience, providing first class fishing and full service packages to people who love to fish. In 1993 the business moved to the current location adjacent to Thomsen Harbor, with Theresa and one partner. Alaska Premier Charters, Inc. dba Wild Strawberry Lodge became solely Theresas business in December 2005. Theresa and her husband, John Belcher, (captain of the "High Roller") have two beautiful daughters—who also love fishing. Because Theresa is a mom as well as a business owner, she strives to provide a quality vacation environment she can be proud of. With the awesome meals, laid-back surroundings, and terrific staff seeing to their every need, clients often describe Alaska Premier Charters, Inc. / Wild Strawberry Lodge as their "home away from home." Many of her clients are now her good friends, and they return year after year to delight in more great fishing and relive past good times. In fact, the many friendships Theresa has developed with her clients are one reason she absolutely loves her job. During her 25 plus years running charters, Theresa has personally trained numerous captains and deckhands, showing them how to provide top-notch service and get on the fish. She takes special pride in her guides being both strong King Salmon moochers and excellent at pulling in the halibut. Inside the Wild Strawberry Lodge, she has everything running smoothly, with a gourmet dinner chef, friendly client coordinators, competent office staff, trained housekeepers, and all the others who will do whatever it takes to make sure you have the best fishing vacation ever! Flats Chance Charters, LLC is an inshore (near shore) and offshore fishing charter business in Homosassa Florida owned and operated by Captain Don Chancey. Specializing in finding fish and making memories for families, friends, individuals or corporate groups, customers can hire Captain Don, also known as the grouper hunter year around for a 1/2 day (four hours) or full day (eight hours) of saltwater fishing for 1-4 people. Offshore trips for grouper can only be booked for full days, due to the drive time it takes to get to the Grouper Grounds. Captain Don is an experienced, friendly and well-respected fishing guide who knows the waters, the regulations, and can take you and your group to the fishing and scalloping "hot spots" along the Citrus County coastline. Captain Don operates a custom built 24 Carolina Skiff for inshore fishing and a 22 Grady White for offshore fishing. Frequently caught inshore species include redfish, trout, flounder, mackerel, snook and cobia. Target species offshore include gag grouper, red grouper, mangrove snapper and red snapper. Specialty trips are available for larger groups using pre-qualified reputable fishing and scallop guides from the Homosassa and Crystal River area. Captain Don can customize the experience to accommodate single or multiple day fishing excursions to include a "cook your catch" meal or shore lunch experience after a day of fishing. Seasonally (July through September) customers can hire Captain Don for a 1/2 day or full day shallow water scallop snorkeling excursions. An advantage to using Flats Chance Charters is the customized shallow draft boat allows Captain Don to use an "off the beaten track" route to the scallop grounds getting customers a glimpse of Old Florida through protected state lands. Saltwater fishing licenses are included, scallopers should bring mask, snorkel, fins and a cooler with any food and beverages for the trip. Fishing charters include all the required state and federal licenses, safety equipment, quality tackle, bait, ice, and cleaning your catch at the end of the day.
