Savenor's Market has been serving the Boston area since 1939, when its original location opened in Cambridge. After that store was destroyed in a fire in 1992, Savenor's Market relocated to the Beacon Hill area, where it continues its tradition of providing high-quality and often exotic produce to the local area.
A more detailed history of this Boston institution can be found on the store's website. There are butchers on the premises, and the store offers a wide range of high-quality cuts of meat, cheese and bread. Savenor's Market is also known for imported and specialty chocolates and sweets.
