A-Shed, established in 1988, is a manufacturer of storage buildings and garages. The company s garages are normally installed on monolithic concrete foundations. This consists of a 12-by-18 footing around the perimeter and a 4-inch floor. For attached garages and out-of-level areas, the company uses a 3-pour rebar that consists of a 10-by-20 footing with a 8-by-4 inch foundation wall. The firm runs a double top plate and a single bottom plate continuous on all four walls. A-Shed s standard garage package includes up to a 16-by-7 garage door, a 3-by-6 foot fiberglass entry door and a 2-by-3 double pane vinyl window. It installs H clips between the sheeting metal to further maintain the integrity of roof. A-Shed has branches in Salt Lake City and Sandy, Utah, and Colorado Springs, Colo.

Walrap Concrete has been in business for over thirty years base in Utah county:Concrete is our way of life. Believe it or not, we enjoy it. Our priority is to make quality concrete that lasts.Mike Terry, OwnerThis is the original guy. He has been doing concrete on his own since 1971. He has experience in just about every situation involving concrete. His main concern is that your job is completed in a timely manner with quality and durability that you can appreciate for years to come. He also has an architectural eye, so he likes to design.Driveways & Parking LotsGood concrete practices are especially important when considering driveways and parking lots because of the freeze thaw cycle and salt that is brought in from the roads. Six-bag mix concrete is the industry standard, but we use at least seven-bag mix. We have a special paving design for parking lots that uses seven and a half bag mix and fibers.Colored & Stamped ConcreteBy adding a dye to concrete you can make it whatever color you would like. After the concrete is finished, a release agent is spread across it. The concrete is then stamped to give a unique texture. This gives an added color and dimension to finished concrete. Then a gloss or natural sealer is applied so the color doesnt fade.Patios, Steps & WalksWe have many innovative ideas to help your outdoor design look great.Basement WalkoutsOur method for basement walkouts doesnt require an over sized hole. We dig a hole the exact size of the walkout. Then rebar is spaced 18 inches on center each way to form a mat to reinforce the concrete. Next the wall is poured and then the steps are poured with a drain in the bottom. Then the door is placed in the foundation. In the next step, all of the walls are plastered. Lastly, the rail is installed.
