Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club is member's only club located on South MacDill Avenue. It was opened in 1916 and continues to be a premier golf course. Members can rent golf clubs and carts and enjoy 18 holes in a pristine setting.
Countrywide is a challenging course playing to a par of 61, with 11 par 3 holes and seven par 4 holes. It's been in business for 18 years and is partly owned by Dave Creighton, a former professional hockey player. Greens fees for 18 holes varies from $12 to $23, depending on start time.
The Northdale Golf Shop is in the Golf and Tennis facility. Go west on Northdale Boulevard and look for the Golf & Tennis Club sign where a small sign points the way to the very well hidden store. Customers will find some essential golf items here like balls, socks, caps, polo's and a small selection of shoes.
The Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club is a historic part of the city of Temple Terrace. This old, city golf club has the honor of being eligible for the National Register of Historic Places and its beautiful facility was the handiwork of renowned architect Tom Bendelow. Residents of this city get a discount, but the public may utilize the facilities at slightly higher rates. The club is a great place for hosting private parties, weddings and other special events. There is a dress code in effect for this country club.
