FCC is located in East Falmouth and is open year round to the public. Bring your clubs and walk or ride the 18 hole, par 72 course. The club has a driving range, golf pro on the property, and a club house that serves lite fare and beverages. Memberships are available for purchase at reasonable prices.
This lofty golf course utilizes the "kirby" marker system, and is designed with lots of trees and doglegs. Tucked away in South Easton, and one might miss it if speeding through Prospect Street. The facility includes five unique views of the course, all to make the experience challenging but also pleasant. The 8,000 foot Joe & Leigh's Discount Golf Pro Shop is equipped with some of the sport's leading brands. Also on the facility is The Wood Bar and The Iron Grill, which offers beer, liquor, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items.
This miniature golf course is set up just off Main and maintains its very own green links. Founded in 1950, this course looks as if it hasn't changed since bomb shelters and poodle skirts reigned supreme. Expect a retro vibe to permeate everything, its Astroturf greens accented by little shrubbery sculptures. Harrington's closes for the season once the weather gets consistently chilly.
Mount Hood Memorial Park and Golf Course, situated in the southeastern portion of Melrose next to the Saugus town line, was completed by the U.S. Works Progress Administration in 1937.
The hilly surroundings of the park make it an attractive spot for cross-country skiing and sledding during winter months. Mount Hood features an 18-hole golf course, clubhouse with function rooms, picnic areas, a tot lot, numerous ponds, and an observation tower.
A walk through the park reveals a number of small ponds and several large ponds including brooks, and streams. Long Pond is its largest body of water. Together, these ponds offer ample opportunity throughout the year for fishing, ice skating, picnics, and provides a serene environment in which to enjoy the wonders of nature.
BFM Driving Range & Mini Golf is located near Route 62. It offers an 18-hole mini golf course and a 200-yard driving range. The facility offers group, ladies, early bird, and senior citizens' discounts. This location also hosts birthday parties for kids. BFM is open from April through October.
Waverly Oaks golf club features five sets of tees, wide forgiving fairways and large undulating greens, providing a true test for golfers. It includes a par 33 Challenger 9 hole course and range facility, which is available for daily use. Golf Digest gives Waverly Oaks 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Founded in 1899, the Wenham Country Club remains an active golf course. This picturesque, peaceful property includes a pro shop and clubhouse complete with snack bar. Staffed with golf professionals, the Club is open to public golfers and always accepting applications for membership.
With locations in Middleton, Saugus and Easton, Golf Country has been offering golf since 1955, when the first driving range was added at the Richardson Family Dairy Farm. In 1990, Golf Country was officially founded and has since expanded to include a variety of amusements. Golf Country can be rented out for private birthday parties and individual customers can come for golf camps, an indoor practice center and lessons. At Easton there is also miniature golf, batting cages and an ice cream stand.
