Workforce Central Career Centers is a public resource that offers information for individuals seeking jobs, training and education. It provides services for employers who require skilled workers and work force development information. The center serves customers, such as job seekers and employers. Workforce Central Career Centers conducts recruitment sessions and receives job applicant referrals, as well as obtains information on federal, state and local employment and economic development-related assistance programs. It is a federally recognized career center that is a part of the Massachusetts One Stop Career Center, which is a network of more than 30 locations. The center also offers career counseling and job search skill development services and access to multiple community programs that help people to stay employed. Workforce Central Career Centers is operated by the city of Worcester in Massachusetts and its activities are administered by the Worcester City Managers Division of Workforce Development.
