The Baptist Children s Village, headquartered in Jackson, Miss., is a Christ-centered ministry that specializes in serving children and their families in the state. The agency was established in 1897 and offers a wide variety of programs and services to children through its various campus. It provides residential care to more than 300 children and is also partners with The Mississippi Baptist Convention. The Baptist Children s Village s India Nunnery Campus has several residential cottages and an emergency care cottage that can accommodate p to 20 children. The agency is financially supported through various means, including parental support, endowment, and cooperative program, individual and church gifts.
