Founded in 1978, Atcoflex is one of the largest suppliers of clothes dryer vent hoses in the United States. The company specializes in air ducting designed for the automotive industry. It provides special-shaped ducts for installation purposes. The company is an original equipment supplier to AM General Corporation, Daimler-Chrysler, Ford and General Motors. Atcoflex is registered to ISO-9002, ISO/TS 16949 and QS-9000 standards, as well as complies with the ISO-14001 standards of the International Organization for Standardization. The company also offers standard materials, including ethylene propylene elastomer and polyvinyl chloride with wire helix affiliated reinforcement. Atcoflex began using Statistical Process Control in the early 1980s and was one of the first company laboratories to be GP-10 Approved by General Motors. It can also provide special shaped ducts and ducts which will bend easily only where specified for easy installation. Atcoflex maintains its headquarters in Grand Haven, Mich.
