capeAbilities is a non profit organization that assists people with disabilities on Cape Cod. This organization has had a great impact on the community and has been well received locally and nationally. Most recently, capeAbilities was mentioned on  the Oprah show praising a few of its members on the work they have achieved. capeAbilities assists with housing, employment and transportation.

Formed as an independent practice in 2004 and incorporated in 2005, Wiklund Research & Design, Inc is a professional consulting firm that helps clients develop safe, usable, and satisfying products, as well as analyze complex human interactions. Michael Wiklund is the firms co-founder and president. A board-certified human factors professional, he holds design patents, has taught user interface development at Tufts University for 15 years, and has published several books and dozens of articles on human factors engineering. Jonathan Kendler is the firms co-founder and design director. A graduate of Tufts University/School of the Museum of Fine Arts, he has applied his human factors and visual design skills to develop and refine products so that they are both usable and attractive. Peter Carstensen is WR&Ds senior analyst, specializing in the human factors-related policies and practices of government agencies that regulate medical devices, particularly the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Peter introduced human factors engineering to the FDA and served as its Human Factors Team Leader for over a decade. Supporting staff members include human factors specialists and technologists who are equally capable at research, design, and evaluation. We are guided by the principles of delivering excellent customer service, offering exceptional value, pursuing creative opportunities, and enjoying the work.
