The Resident Relations Department is a division of the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles. The department assists public housing residents and Section 8 clients to become better educated and economically self-sufficient by creating pride, respect and stability through job training, job placement and educational, cultural, and recreational programs. The department s job training and placement services include the Job Plus program, the Workforce Development program, a variety of computer learning programs, a number of language services programs, transportation services, housing-based day supervision programs, youth leadership and development programs and numerous youth initiative programs. The Resident Relations Department maintains its operational headquarters in Los Angeles.
