The organization provides various programs for parents, guardians and communities. Its Advancing Parent-Professional Leadership in Education program, also known as A.P.P.L.E., offers skills training services for school-system teams. Federation for Children with Special Needs also features Parents Engaged in Education Reform, which is a national technical assistance project that increases parents participation in school reform efforts.
