AB Rental becomes Nutter Equipment AB Rental, Lebanons 20-year-old equipment-rental, plumbing and electrical-supply store has undergone an "extreme makeover" at the hands of Jim Nutter, the stores new owner. Located on Jennings Avenue at Highway 231 South, the renovated store rents various pieces of construction-related and home-improvement equipment, such as trenchers, jackhammers, garden tillers, generators, skid-steer loaders, pressure washers, and much more. The store also sells equipment, tools, plumbing, mobile home, and electrical supplies. "After 20 years in business, we just felt it was time for a makeover. We wanted to update the store to better compete with the new big box stores in town and attract new customers. But were also committed to keeping the old-fashioned traditions of a friendly small-town business where we make it easy to fill your needs." AB Hedgespeth, who started the business 20 years ago and still owns the building, has worked with Jim to update the building inside and out. Johnny Harper, who ran the business for the past four years, has retired to tend to his farm, animals and rental properties. Jim Nutter is uniquely qualified to run the new business, after spending his entire previous career in quality Tennessee companies like Tractor Supply and Campbell Hausfeld. Nutter Equipment is also now a Campbell Hausfeld Outlet Store and Service Center. "Campbell Hausfeld employs hundreds of people in Wilson County at their Mt. Juliet facility; we thought it was important to make these locally made quality products and accessories available in a more complete assortment than customers could find in other stores." Along with all the new products, customers will find the stores older product lines expanded, such as an extensive assortment of faucet and plumbing-repair products. "We also offer an excellent assortment of electrical circuit breakers, including hard-to-find Federal Pacific and Zinsco." Renting a tool rather than buying it is a "Bright Idea" a much smarter way to get projects done. "With rental, you can rent a better tool than you can afford to buy, you dont have to go shopping for the lowest price, and you dont have to worry about storage or maintenance afterwards. If you need a rack for your garage sale or need to move a piano or want to remove wallpaper, we have a rental tool to get it done. If you have concrete to pour, loads to move or a trench to dig, we have a tool for that, too. Why buy something that you might use once a year?"
