St. Helena Public Library Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and strengthening the St. Helena Public Library. The organization works in conjuncture with Friends of the Library in providing financial support. Its focus includes substantial gifts and bequests, charitable trusts, matching grants, securing capital funding and other planned giving strategies.
The Calistoga Public Library is based in a one-story, wood frame building, 2,900 square feet in size. It houses a large collection of books, CDs, DVDs, audio books, a reference collection and periodicals, sectioned for children, teens and adults. The facilities additionally feature a microfilm reader, five computers and printers, story time for children and a Grandparents and Books session program. It hosts literacy tutoring services for adults and families, as well as job resource center, the LifeWORKS Career Center.
