Founded in 1923, Sternberg Vintage Lighting is a manufacturer and distributor of traditional and architectural lighting products. Specializing in lighting options with a vintage appearance, the company offers a range of styles, such as Colonial American, Prairie designs inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, turn-of-the-century European styles and modern architectural luminaries. Its product range includes poles, acorns, caged and prismatic acorns, globes, lanterns, down lighting, roadway bases and arms, natural gas fixtures and bollards. Sternberg s clients have included several towns, municipalities and colleges, with projects such as the city of Rockford, Mich.; a New Jersey Transit Station in Matawan, N.J.; and a commuter station and parking areas in Glenview, Ill. Sternberg Vintage Lighting employs more than 150 people and maintains a location in Roselle, Ill.
