Established in 1951, Lindens Lions Club is a service club for the people and members. The company is one of the largest service clubs in the United States and 7th largest in the world. Annually it provides the BBQ lunch for the FFA at the Community Day Fair and Cherry Festival, among others. In the 1950s, the club built the Linden display in the Ag building at the San Joaquin County Fair. Linden Lions have specialty dinners. The dinners include Hawaiian night, Irish night and occasional dinners, featuring Swedish, German or Japanese food. The club organizes Cioppino, baroldi dinners along with crab feeds and an Italian night dinner/dance.
